The S.C.A.A. has invited the candidates for Village office to submit
statements concerning their candidacies.
The S.C.A.A. does not support or oppose any candidate.

I have lived in Saltaire for over twenty-five years.
I served three years on the board of the S.C.A.A., the last two as its chair. I organized and hosted the first Candidate Forum.
After I left the SCAA board, I served two terms as a Village Trustee.
Since leaving the Village Board, I have served as an auxiliary member of the Saltaire Fire Company.
For years, I organized the Saltaire Halloween Party and was 'Mr. Halloween.' Most years, I still am. I have been a judge at the Sandcastle Contest since it began. I continue to help with the Jogathon and 10K races and other community events.
I host and maintain the S.C.A.A. Web site. It is a lot of work but I am happy with the results including the very useful directory of email addresses.
I am a graduate of the N.Y.U. School of Law. After graduation, I practiced criminal law in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I have tried many cases and am very familiar with New York law and procedure.
I believe that my experience with Saltaire community organizations, in Saltaire government and as a lawyer make me well qualified to undertake the responsibilities of Village Justice. I hope that you will agree and support my candidacy for this important office.
